Food and drug safety is a matter of people’s life safety and health, is amatter of national economy and people’s livelihood and social harmony. Atpresent, our country has entered a critical stage to build a well-off society inan all-round way, economic development and social progress to the food anddrug safety is put forward higher request, the people have a higherexpectation. However, in recent years, major domestic food and drugaccidents frequently occur, people’s diet drug safety by the great harm.Therefore, an urgent need to the food and drug supervision mechanism inour country, further innovation to strengthen the food and drug supervisionand management, to ensure the safety of the people’s diet medication. Thisarticle embarks from the history of humanism, in the study of ancientChinese and foreign success of the food and drug regulatory model, on thebasis of integration of regulatory functions of legal interpretation, somecontent in the current domestic drug regulatory model as a starting point,analyzes the current regulation, proposed to the existing supervisiondepartment of food and drug regulators organic merging and integration, to create a unified, efficient and independent of the food and drug regulator, andchanges to the current food and drug laws and regulations, improving foodand drug testing standard, to strengthen the construction of law enforcementpersonnel, improve the social organization participation, finally realizes theintegrative regulation thinking of food and drug regulatory functions.
