Study On American Hegemonic Balance Of Power In Northeast Asia And China’s Strategies

After the end of the cold war, For preventing to challenge American advantageposition from other countries, American transfer its global strategic focus to eastward. Dueto the North Korean nuclear issue involves American core interests and draws much of itsattention. In order to curb the powers of the district to challenge American advantageposition，American want to build the balance of power in Northeast Asia and the AsiaPacific region based on the North Korean nuclear issue by the means of politics, economy,military and culture.In this paper, case analysis and comparative study are the main research methods andthe main content is how to use the North Korean nuclear issue to form the multinationalinteraction power balance among the complex contradictions and conflicting interests,leading by American and China’s measures. The author began from the related concepts,had a clear concept as a precondition, discussed the balance of power situation inNortheast Asia after the Cold War and a balance of power situation for American hope,researched the building activities of American hegemonic power balance in NortheastAsia，came to the conclusion that in practice, utilizing the United Nations to sanctionsNorth Korea; building the structural balance through the Six-Party Talks; promotingAmerica dream to enhance the identity of country in Northeast Asia and rebalancing thepower in the Northeast Asia by military force are four ways for American to build thebalance of power, and proposed four countermeasures for China to reply the building ofAmerican hegemonic power balance， such as utilizing the UN to balance US;strengthening economic ties with other countries to form conflicting interests; utilizing theUN to balance US; deepening the relations between China and Russia to reply theUS-Japan alliance and US-South Korea alliance and constructing the balance of power bypromoting security through trust.Researching in American hegemonic power balance in Northeast Asia not only forhaving more systematic and in-depth analysis of American diplomatic strategy, but alsocan provide more feasible solutions for our country in the future to continuously improve the comprehensive national strength and international influence and reduce friction andconflict with American on a variety of issues. Through research, we can not onlysummarize the theoretical knowledge such as purpose，content and means of buildingAmerican hegemonic power balance in Northeast Asia at the theoretical level, but also canprovide reference for China to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nationpeacefully in the practical level.
