Establishment Of Environmental Pollution Liability Insurance System In China

Environmental pollution liability insurance have been piloted in our country in 1990 s,but new environmental law provide this system until 2014, which is abstract and could not guide practice. Environmental pollution liability insurance system plays a significant role in undertaking environmental pollution liability. Thus building and perfecting this system is important to coordinate the development of economy and environment. Above all, the paper introduces the connotation, the rise, the development and the necessity of environmental pollution liability insurance system. Then the paper discusses the question of this system in China on the basis of legislation evolution and practice. And the paper tries to build our environmental pollution liability insurance system via using abroad for reference. In the end,the paper puts forwards set of supporting system to better solve the problem of environmental pollution liability.
