Mu Zongsan is not only knowledgeable but also concerned about the national future and national destiny. In the 1960s, to solve the problem of political modernization, he proposed the theory of democracy deriving, based on traditional Chinese Confucianism and absorbed western democracy, science, philosophy knowledge. Theory of democracy deriving is modern expression of Confucian inner cultivation and exterior action thought, is careful thinking and beautiful outlook of Chinese democracy on the premise of reflecting on the history of China and learning Chinese and western culture spirits. The theory of democracy deriving caused enormous repercussions as it was put forward and benefited the construction of democratic politics in our country. Some people agree and some disagree.
