Study On Occupational Values Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers In The Background Of The New-type Urbanization In Hebei Province

With the rapid development of China’s market economy and the sustainable transfer of rural surplus labor force in large scale as well as suffering from the strong influence of the urban- rural dualistic structure in china, the migrant workers as a special group appeared. Now the generational change of the migrant workers has been basically completed, so the new generation of migrant workers has become the backbone of economic development, social stability and industrial transformation. Compared with the traditional migrant workers, the new generation of migrant workers is much different in life background, behaviour patterns and their values. As an important object of urbanization, the professional value of the new generation of migrant workers has the direct impact on their own development and the development process of China’s new urbanization.This paper is based on the related research at home and abroad to construct relative analysis framework and look for theoretical support and method to solve the problem. The author regarded the new generation of migrant workers in Hebei province as the research object and a questionnaire investigation was conducted among them. From the perspective of the subject of the new generation of migrant workers, the author investigated on their job experience, occupation standard, career motivation, career attitudes and occupation expectation and so on, and found the positive sides and at the same time found the negative aspects in the occupation values. There are many aspects of influence factors of the new generation of migrant workers in the form of occupation values such as economics, culture, system, network information and the individual factor. At the same time the author is guidance with the basic tenets of Marxism, and put forward some suggestions on providing the main support guide for guiding the occupation values of the new generation of migrant workers. Recommendations are as follows: putting forward cultivating principle of occupation values of the new generation of migrant workers; perfecting the content system of occupation values education; improving the system security system; the new generation of migrant workers’ vocational values education is optimized by the government, enterprise, community, network media and individual level in order to perfect the social support network and provide the main support for the occupational values of the new generation of migrant workers. Exploring the occupational values of the new generation of migrant workers provides a new perspective for the research on the problem of the new generation of migrant workers. At the same time, the formation of the scientific occupational values of the new generation of migrant workers should be guided by vocational cognitive education, vocational ideal education, vocational psychological education and entrepreneurial consciousness education, thus it provides a new direction for the new generation of migrant workers’ occupational values education.The significance of the research about the occupation values of the new generation of migrant workers enriches the Chinese characteristic theory of population transfer and migrant workers, we should understand the group characteristics of the new generation of migrant workers and the occupation values objectively and on the basis of scientific orientation, we actively guide them to establish correct values of occupation and standards of employment behaviour, which is good at developing the city economy and accelerating the process of new urbanization,improving the level of urbanization in China, guiding the transfer of rural surplus labor force and building a harmonious society.
