QiBiaojia(1602- 1645), with the name HuZi, YouWen, HongJi, ShiPei, Yuan Shan Tang’s master, Yu Shan Buddhist.He was born in Shan yin Zhejiang(now in Zhejiang ShaoXing) Mei Shu village.During the late Ming Dynasty, there were many problems, such as political instability and frequently natural disaster. QiBiaojia had experienced the vicissitudes of official life. Chongzhen eight years(1635), QiBiaojia resigned to be a hermit. He organized a agency for free the animals. At a fixed time, QiBiaojia and his numbers freed the fish or birds., love to cherish a life, adhere to the "not less than one".When natural disasters stroked, QiBiaojia understand and sympathized the difficulty of the poor people. So he actively joined the local charity. QiBiaojia launched the free medical service, donated money and food, opened porridge workshop, and buried body’s volunteer, cached locusts QiBiaojia accorded to its relief experience, while drawled on the experience of ancient book excerpts of famine relief, compiled into "huangzhengquanshu".During the villeggiatura period, Qibiaojia‘s charitable activities and practice, which had the important meaning to the philanthropy in Shanyin. QiBiaoJia was every smart, while his political career was not all plain sailing. After the Ming dynasty perished, QiBiaoJia chose not to live, and saw his town country vanquished by the enemy. QiBiaoJia could make such a choice, which has the relationship with his family environment. QiBiaoJia came from a distinguished family, officials’ aristocratic family, collecting book family. After back hometown, QiBiaoJia had enthusiastic on the local charity, which had a close relationship with folk charity rising and family environment.The second chapter expounds the Qibiaojia’s charity activities, including organize free animals club, medical service and helped the victims. Through the detailed introduced Qibiaojia’s charity move. Which on the one hand, it showed his focus on local issues, on the other hand to show his kindness.The third chapter mainly discusses the meaning and evaluation of QiBiaojia charity activities. Qi’s charitable activities and practices have an important meaning in the stable place order and the traditional utilitarian concept of reconsidering.The gentry in Shanyin greatly praised Qibiaojia’s charity event. QiBiaoJia, for example, analysis of the mentality of Ming dynasty honest gentry devoted to the charity.
