Research About Work Improvement Of Prisoners’ Education For Being Discharged From Prison In Beijing

The period of prisoners’ education for being discharged from prison is an important stage of prison education and transformation work. By conducting education about the situation, policy, prospect as well as legal compliance and necessary employment guidance towards prisoners and carrying out a variety of practical vocational skills training, prisoners’ adapted ability to society and earning capacity can be strengthened after returning to society, having great significance on prisoners for returning to and integrating themselves into society.At present, there are still some difficulties in the work of education for being discharged from prison, mainly reflecting in the following fields. The education idea towards prisoners hasn’t adapted to today’s society. The pertinence of education and transformation is not strong. The content of education and transformation resources cannot completely cover the goal of education and transformation and doesn’t clearly correspond with the goal of education and transformation. The resources are scattered and cannot be effectively shared, the reusable degree is low with less form as well. What’s more, the implementation mechanism and assessment mechanism of education and transformation work still haven’t reached systematization and refinement.The paper takes the Center of Education for Being Discharged from Prison of Beijing Prison Management Bureau as example. The research content is divided into three parts. First of all, on the basis of analyzing the background of education for being discharged from prison to carefully systemize and summarize relevant research results at home and abroad in order to provide theoretical basis for this selected topic. Secondly, to analyze the current situation of education for being discharged from prison in Beijing and find the root of the problem so as to provide reality basis for further studying and exploring the ways and strategies of prisoners’ education for being discharged from prison. Thirdly, to further study and explore the improving countermeasures for strengthening the prisoners’ education for being discharged from prison in order to provide reference for strengthening the work of prisoners’ education for being discharged from prison and promoting scientific development of prison work for education for being discharged from prison in Beijing and domestic related prisons.
