Discuss The Relationship Between Network Media Supervision And Public Security Investigation

The nature of public security work determine that it is bound to focus network media’s attention. With the more and more significant affection of network media supervision, the public security organ’s attitude has changed from the negative resistance at the beginning gradually to attention and respect. The main body of network media supervision is from general public, which is disordered. The lack of norms and effective supervision of the work of network media cause the negative effect on the credibility of public security organs, because of its negative reports. The public security organ’s lack of effective response to network media supervision will also stimulate the contradiction between public power and private rights of the people, thus worsening the law enforcement environment. Therefore, establishing a benign interaction between the administration of cyber media and the public security has important practical significance for the public security organs to build a good image and a harmonious relationship to people.This paper uses the theory of the relationship between the media and the investigation to analyze the negative and positive effects of network media supervision on the investigation work of public security and uses the folk psychology to analyze the causes of conflict of the two above, starting from the psychology of net citizen and network media. According to these reasons, this paper proposes correspondent solutions.This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is a general introduction of the development and characteristics of the network media supervision, making readers have a whole understanding of the network media. The second chapter explains the relationship between the network media supervision and investigation work. It uses the gradually changed attitude of the public security organs to network media supervision to summarize the negative and positive effects of network media supervision on the investigation work of public security, combining the hot cases. The third chapter analyzes the causes of the conflict of network media supervision and the investigation work of public security. Starting from the different characteristics of them, it points out their problems caused by each main body. The fourth chapter is the concept of the benign interaction between the network media and investigative work of public security. According to these reasons above, it puts forward four aspects of improvement measures, including the relevant legislations, the improvement of the network media’s quality, the construction of mainstream network media, and the improvement of the police.
