Research On Ecological Politics Construction

Ecological problems have become a major threat to all the people of the world and human beings have been trying to discover the causes and solutions all the time. In the face of the increasingly severe ecological situation in China with ecological crisis affecting everyone in the society, it has become a topic of the times how to solve ecological crisis. The report of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) explicitly points out that ecological civilization construction shall be integrated in political construction, and therefore, ecological politics construction has become a powerful weapon to solve ecological and environmental problems. Based on this, the thesis puts forward some tentative ideas on the theoretical system of ecological politics construction. Then, the thesis takes Guilin for case study, analyses the current situation of ecological politics construction of Guilin, and discusses the problems and their causes of ecological politics construction, so as to further explore a perfect approach to ecological politics construction in Guilin.The thesis can be divided into the following five parts: The first part:Introduction. It is to expound the source and meaning of the selected subject; review ecological politics theory and the current situation, causes and approaches of ecological politics construction in contemporary China at home and abroad; explain the research design, approach and innovation point; and elucidate the key concept --- ecological politics.The second part:try to build the theoretical system of ecological politics construction. Ecological politics construction is generalized as a dynamic system of ecological political governance where the ecological political subject acts on ecological problems under a political community. Ecological political subjects refer to the individual, group or political structure whose existence or action is in a certain political life or political relation. They value ecological politics as ecological cognition and behavior guidance. Ecological problems then become the object of ecological politics, a political issue. Ecological political governance mainly includes: the interaction between ecological political subject and social structure; ecological political management of subject of ecological political power; ecological political participation of subject of ecological social politics. At the same time, since the motility of ecological political subject and the ecological political governance based on good governance purposes as responsibility and response lie in ecological politics construction, an ecological political feedback is built and a system circuit of ecological politics construction is formed.The third part:set forth the current situation of ecological politics construction of Guilin. The achievements of ecological politics construction in Guilin mainly include the following three points:first, the ecological political subjects have certain ecological consciousness; second, there are certain approaches of ecological political governance; third, certain feedback consciousness and approaches of ecological politics are possible. The problems of ecological politics construction are mainly shown in the following four points:first, the ecological political value of the subject is not that proactive; second, ecological problems take place and sometimes very serious; third, the ecological political governance is not perfect; and fourth, the ecological political feedback is not favorable.The fourth part:analyze the causes of problems in ecological politics construction of Guilin. First, the premature citizen culture of Guilin restricts the shaping of ecological political subject; second, the weak sustainable economic base of Guilin restricts ecological political governance; third, certain weakness of political process of Guilin restricts ecological governance and feedback efficacy.The fifth part:explore how to further strengthen and perfect ecological politics construction of Guilin. The primary premise is adhering to the three principles as socialist orientation, ecological coordination, ecological inheritance and innovative development. Based on the theoretical system of ecological politics construction, specific approaches and suggestions are proposed:first, reinforce the construction of ecological political subject in Guilin, which corresponds to the socialization of ecological politics; second, reinforce the ecological political governance first by enforcing the ecological economy development, which corresponds to the modernization of ecological politics, second by the enforcing ecological politics management in Guilin and third by enforcing the ecological political participation, which corresponds to the ecological political democracy; third, reinforce the feedback efficacy of ecological politics in Guilin.
