On The Legislation Of Ecological Crime

The direct purpose of this paper is to give suggestions on legislation, that ecological crime, a definitely new type of crime, should be included in our criminal law. This is rather useful in the prevention and infliction of serious destruction on ecological environment, protection of ecological safety, promotion of the harmonious relationship between human and nature. To be honest, the definition of ecological crime is a relatively new concept, which implicates the legislative conception of'ecological-centered doctrine', and never appears in legislation. While traditional crime concerns much on the'human-centered doctrine'. Ecological crime aims at protecting ecological safety, the ecological interest, while traditional crime concerns much on protection of human life, health and property. It is not sufficient although some embody the so-called ecological interest.
