In the context of the era of globalization, China’s economy and society in the process of development continued to show a variety of new features, the economic system reform, changes in the form of social organization, adjustments in the pattern of social interests and social lifestyle changes largely affect people’s ideology, Ideas of the public also will be showing a wide range of features. From the general trend of social development, the diversification of social thought conducive to the development and enrichment of Marxism, to promote the construction of socialist ideology of the times continue to maintain its advanced nature. At the same time, along with the prosperity and development of socialist culture, some of the non-Marxist ideology continually growing, some western capitalist ideology decadent opportunity into China, including new democratic thought, extreme individualism thought, democratic socialist thought and historical nihilism. To a certain extent, these social thoughts had a role in the corrosion to the socialist core value system, and had posed a serious challenge to China’s ideological construction. Therefore, as a mainstream ideology of our country, the socialist core value system how to lead the social trend of thought, become our urgent reality task to answer and urgency of historic task.
