The minors are hope of the country and future of the nation, but minor crime is another serious problem worldwide following drum crime, environment pollution. Compared with adults, the physical and psychological of minor development is not yet mature, lack of social experience and understanding of the law. They have not enough defense capability and self-protection awareness, so they will have obvious weak in criminal suit. Speaking on the causes of crime, as a serious social phenomenon, minor crime despite has reasons for themselves.Families, social, schools have responsibilities. It can be said, they minors also victims in minor crime. So from the perspective of the protection of minors, countries need to give the special protection and care in criminal proceedings, giving more procedural rights for minors and setting more comprehensive and effective rights safeguards. The purpose of the research on the system of appropriate adult participation is to protect minors involving crime.This article begins with the outline of the research on the system of appropriate adult participation, making a basic introducing on it. Then define the concept of this system. And on this basis, the significance of the research on the system of appropriate adult participation that safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of minors involved in crime,improve the way of educating and protecting the minors,promote the social reintegration of minors and contribute the improvement of the juvenile justice system of our country are summarized. Secondly,studying the research on the system of appropriate adult participation abroad,especially the birthplace of system—legislative and judicial overview of UK. Thirdly, according to our legislative and judicial status quo, this article generalized problems of the system in our country. The current<Code of Criminal Procedure>section 270 established the research on the system of appropriate adult participation, but the provision is more principle. We have not established a complete system yet, and in practice, there have been some problems. Finally, on the basis of these studies, the article made recommendations for improvement of the system in our country. Mainly from the complete elaborate ideas and specific initiatives, including the range suitable for adults, elective standards, international procedures, rights and obligations and other appropriate. This article analyzes the system in order to deepen the understanding of the status and value of the system.
