Study On The Protection Of Workers' Legitimate Rights And Interests By Tong Hua Federation Of Trade Unions

The new trade union law states: "the all-China federation of trade unions and its trade union organizations represent the interests of workers and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests in accordance with the law." Safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of workers is the basic duty of trade unions at all levels.Tonghua municipal federation of trade unions is a prefecture-level trade union organization in jilin province.By the end of2019,there were 1,495 grassroots trade unions with 162,700 union members in tonghua.There are 454 full-time staff members and 4,645 part-time staff members in grassroots trade unions.In recent years,the economic development of tonghua city is a little slow,the development of enterprises is not very prosperous,the phenomenon of infringement of the legitimate rights and interests of enterprise workers is frequently occurred.As the "family" of the worker,tonghua municipal federation of trade unions has a great responsibility to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the worker.Although the ideas and measures of safeguarding rights are constantly innovated,there are still many problems in the process of safeguarding rights.In order to better protect the legitimate rights and interests of the workers need to dig into these problems,search for solutions.This paper uses the method of literature research and questionnaire survey to sort out and refine the current practice and problems of tonghua federation of trade unions,and makes a thorough analysis of the existing problems,and puts forward countermeasures and Suggestions.The paper is divided into four parts: the first part introduces the research background,research significance,and research methods,and summarizes the current domestic and foreign research literature on the protection of workers' legitimate rights and interests by trade unions.The second part is the current situation of tonghua municipal federation of trade unions in safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of workers,including the basic situation of tonghua municipal federation of trade unions and the practical achievements in safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of workers.The third part describes the current problems existing in tonghua city federation of trade unions rights and to analyze the causes of these problems,the problems existing in the main is the union struggled to cope with diversified rights of appeal,trade union rights protection channel impeded,union activist funds inadequate support does not reach the designated position and worker rights,trade unions difficulties will low,among them especially rightsof appeal,the union struggled to cope with diversified shows that under the current trade union rights cannot meet the needs of employee diversity.This paper analyzes the causes of the problems,mainly from the union itself,the internal environment and the external environment,to find out the four main reasons;The fourth part puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions from the aspects of perfecting the construction of the right protection system of the trade union,strengthening the self-construction of the trade union,fully implementing the "trade union law",and perfecting the work of helping the difficult workers.
