Study On Nanning Government Image Strategy Based On CIS Theory

Guangxi province, which is located in the south of China and based on its unique location advantage and sea route, is gradually presenting its own unique charming and strong nationalities culture characteristics as the progress of the reform and opening-up policy. A leading province image rises rapidly in the southern coastal region. Nanning, which is the capital city and first big city of Guangxi, an ancient culture city with a long history, now is growing into a regional international city as the opportunity of permanent place of China-ASEAN Expo. Nanning is not only the core city of Beibu Bay economic circle, but also the central and bond of southeast Area. Such in this background of fact and opportunity, Nanning face the unprecedented challenges and responsibilities. It tests the courage of countermeasures of local government. If Nanning Government wants to show good image name cards to our people and even ASEAN countries, the soft power of local government must go hand in hand with hard power. Only building good local government image, can solid the foundation of soft power. Good local government image can improve citizen credibility and also cohesion.Based on CIS Theory, it can benefit for improving Nanning government’s image because of its decades of years experience of Corporate Identification System. This essay analysis the three factors of CIS Theory, combing the government into the theory for putting forward benefit and appropriate countermeasures aiming to improve the image of Nanning government’s image. Currently, although Nanning Government gets some achievements on image building, it still has some problems, such as the aspects of image protection management, concept construction, image public, etc. Under this background, we should analyze the problem and find the reason, find out an efficient countermeasure to build good Nanning government image based on CIS Theory. Herein, this essay analyzes the advantage and characters of Nanning by factors of CIS Theory, put forwards suggestions and advices to Government of Nanning city, and also want to work for its image building.
