In recent years, the number of Chinese single-mother families is rising. In growing, the adolescents in single-mother families face many psychological and social needs, making it a much-needed social concern and help vulnerable groups. As a helping professional, social work can get involved in this group with professional methods and techniques, and help them better adapt to society and grow up healthy.This paper, which theme is the Social Work Intervention of the adolescents in single-mother families, used the length interview of research methods. First, this paper did data analysis on previous studies and found that the current research of teenagers in the widowed single mother families is almost blank. This paper includes the interview for these teenagers and their primary caregivers, to understand their current situation and existing problems of life, and analyzes the subjective and objective advantage characteristics of the youngster in widowed single-mother families using the theory of advantage perspective, and emphasizes on excavating the advantages of the clients, to help them understand their advantages, so as to solve the external or potential problems of the clients.At the same time, the article analyzes the concept of strength perspective of social work which intervene in widowed single mother family. The idea of resilience believe that everyone has the ability to learn, grow and change the inner, the human mental world contains infinite power. Meanwhile,I introduced the process of intervention of social work. At the end of the intervention, I make a summary and puts forward some suggestions.
