From the16th national congress of the communist party of china to the18th, our country has successively proposed to adhere to "the path of urbanization with Chinese characteristics" and speed up the development of urbanization. Thus it can be seen that the Chinese government has been taking the urbanization as the important strategic deployment to develop our country economy and promote social harmony. However, with the accelerating pace of urbanization in our country, the potential contradictions and problems also gradually come out. In urbanization process, the failure to fully understand the migration willingness of rural involuntary migrants causes the contradiction and conflict in the requisition of rural area. As the important factor that affects farmers’ migration wills, Social capital is divided into micro relational social capital and macro system social capital. This paper will employ empirical research to explain how social capital affects migration wills of rural migrants.Based on the domestic and foreign research on social capital and rural migration wills, this paper takes Liujiata town of Xinzhou city in Shanxi province as an example to conduct an open interviews, and carries out literature and theoretical analysis, mathematical statistics and deductive method to research and analysis the social capital factors affecting rural migration wills.Firstly, folly knowing domestic and foreign forefront research of social capital and rural migration wills at present, this paper has carried on the induction summary to the previous related research, and extracted suitable basic concepts and measurements for this article, combined with the special research background and the research object. Secondly, the paper uses the open interview methods to fully understand the ideas and factors that affect their migration willingness, and amends and issues the questionnaire. Through data collection, we put forward the research hypothesis to take empirical analysis, mainly from the relationship quality and embeddedness of microscopic relational social capital and the relevant institutional social capital of macro social capital. Finally, according to the empirical analysis results, this paper concludes social capital’s influence on villagers’ migration wills, and puts forward constructive suggestions to promote the villagers to move smoothly.
