Citizen Participation In Local Government Public Policy Development Research

Ensure democratic and scientific public policy, the key to the introduction of citizen participation. Citizens as an important component of public policy role in public policy-making process is worth seriously, China’s institutional mechanism to decide the citizen is our master, there is participation in public policy development and understanding of the relevant government information rights Government is obliged to guide citizens to actively participate in a wide range, which is consistent with democratic values and political norms of modern society. With our emphasis on democracy and the rule of law, and citizen participation in public policy development in deepening the breadth and depth of how public policy makers to provide a standardized legal protection for citizen participation, expansion and smooth channels of participation, to build a scientific, rational and efficient the system is an in-depth study should explore the topic, which is to improve the effectiveness of citizen participation in public policy development has important theoretical and practical significance.
