Christian theology and the concept of natural law is the key factor affecting the development of western legal system. The author tries to from Christian theology fusion concept of natural law in the process of pursuing religious factors, the development of western criminal law the main limiting the study to promote the authority of criminal law in theology, religion law evolution known as the secular etc on the analysis of criminal law, so as to prove that Christian theology from formally impact on western punishment law what are benign.In view of the above views, in this paper, the basic key points established in Christian theology, the concept of natural law, the western legal culture and the western criminal law system of the four relationships and its influence on the relationship between each other. From the structure of this paper is divided into three parts:The first part, the paper expounds the Christian theology of natural law, the overall process, as well as the process main thinkers of legal point of view. Then what are from theological thought of natural law ideas influenced the western legal culture.The second part, the theology of natural law affect the influence of the legal culture of western criminal law is primarily institutional and conceptual. On the one hand, some are influenced by the and appear in the church of the criminal law system and common criminal law system; On the other hand is introduced when the legal system to modern punishment law the influence of some basic ideas.The third part, mainly review the first, the second part, on the basis of talk about theology natural law on the impact on western punishment law problems, to the current legal system and legal culture in our country to build what revelation.
