Aiming at the problem of education problem in China, the famous scientist Qian Xuesen put forward a difficult question about China’s education development to Premier Wen Jiabao, which is "why our schools always cannot train out excellent talents" that needs the whole education sector and the community together to crack. To solve this problem, we should learn from the "advice from others", and sum up our experience. For further and systematically investigating the subject of Mao Zedong Education Revolution Thought, we summarize the experience and lessons of educational revolution after the founding of China, which still has an important practical significance to solve the present education problemMao Zedong Education Revolution Thought is a series of measures and ideas of revolution, which puts forward on the basic of the practice of education; It is formed in the period of revolution and construction of education practice. The contents of that have been proved correct, also has been proved wrong ingredients. Current academic revolution of Mao Zedong’s educational thought research has yielded rich fruits, but not enough systems. There are different opinions about formation and main contents of Mao Zedong’s educational revolution and practice effectiveness etc. Using of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, a combination of theoretical and practical methods, which analyzes Mao Zedong’s revolutionary ideas of education formed the basis of theory, practice, main content, as well as a systematic analysis of the effectiveness of the practice. Theoretical sources of the formation of Mao Zedong’s educational revolution, on the one hand, is nurtured by education idea of Chinese traditional culture, on the other hand, under the influence the educational thoughts of Marxism-Leninism. Mao Zedong’s personal educational experiences, and before and after the founding of the Communist Party of China-led education practice for Mao Zedong’s revolutionary theory laid the practical Foundation. It gradually formed a system of thought in the mid of1960th.Main contents include the popularization and promotion of education.Education must serve proletarian politics and must be combined with productive labor, reforming the education system, the teaching contents,teaching methods and transformation of intellectuals, and so on, which demonstrates the scientific part of the practice, and the educational reform in China under the guidance of Mao Zedong’s successful experience, we should develop which have been proved to be contrary to the law of education development measures from the actual content of the error that we should draw a lesson from.
