The Research On Political Thoughts Of Lu Jia And "Xin Yu"

Lu Jia is the Han dynasty to transform one of the representative of the pre-Qinperiod Confucianism. He is one of the important inheritors of Confucian culture on theone hand, on the other hand he also an outstanding political thinker in Han dynasty. LuJia as early Han dynasty outstanding political figure, he made an important contributionnot only to the Han national governance, also made numerous base for the revival ofConrucianism in Han dynasty. His thougts mainly exists in his existing “Xin Yu”.Lu Jia lived through the different historical period. Under the background ofturning point in society, he also incorporates Confucian “Righteousness” and HuangLao Taoist “Laissez-faire” political ideas. Lu Jia thought Qin dynasty for thesuppression of Confucianism and the Confucian “Righteousness” thoughts of rejection,and the country deeply to control society caused by the collapse of the Qin dynasty.“Xin Yu” as Lu Jia provided to the early Han’s rulers governing the bible andthe historical rise and fall of lessons learned, it contains Lu Jia political control and thethoughts of social governance in China. Lu Jia through his whole life rich in politicalactivities actively to modify Confucianism since the warring states period. He set up tosatisfy the needs of the early Han dynasty political and social development “newConfucianism system”. The efforts of the early Han’s thinkers such as Lu Jia,Confucianism gradually accepted by the ruling class and get a promotion. Finally toDong Zhongshu period, Confucianism became the official ideology.In this articale, through analyzing the era of Lu Jia, experience of political events, and “Xin Yu” containing the political thoughts, re-evaluated Lu Jia status andhis torical role in the history of politics in China.
