The Practice Of Japan "Normal State" And The Change Of Japan-North Korea Relations

After World War Ⅱ, at the "peace constitution" and the US military’s shelter, Japan’s economic rapidly recovery.1970s and 1980s, Japan leapt to the second largest economic power in the world. With the establishment of the status of the economic power, Japan’s desire which became a political power commensurate with their economic status was gradually inflated. After the Cold War, Japan put forward a" Normal State" after the "International State" and wanted to get legal rights to send troops overseas. In the strategy of " Normal State ", the key of changing of Japanese" Normal State " identity is to thoroughly liquidate history and achieve reconciliation with North Korea. Therefore, the position of the normalization of Japan-North Korea relations in Japanese strategy of Normal State " is very important. However, from the practice of strategy of " Normal State " we can see that, which called security threats from North Korea is argument Japan demonstrated the legitimacy and necessity to promote " Normal State ". After the continuing to accelerate the Normal State "made Japan in trouble, the Japanese government took advantage of the " Abduction Issue" interacting with North Korea to alleviate the plight of " Normal State ".These factors led to the Japan-North Korea relations existed characteristics which were easing and deteriorating. But the easing of Japan to North Korea relations can’t change the essence that Japan uses it service for " Normal State ".This paper will from the Japanese "Normal State" point of view, researching the domestic and international practice of Japan’s " Normal State "and the three major "ups and downs" of relationship between Japan and North Korea since the 1990s and bilateral relations "warmer" currently. This paper reveal the characteristics and essence of Japan-North Korea relations, that are the Japan-North Korea relations is subordination in Japanese " Normal State "strategy, and the called "North Korea Threat" provides a "legitimate" reason for Japanese " Normal State ", and when the practice of "Normal State " strategy is in trouble, easing Japan-North Korea relations is also farmer to alleviate the plight of "Normal State". And before Amending the Constitution can not be come true to make "Normal State" be confirmed by law, Japan greatly may render "North Korea Threat" again to service for "Normal State".
