The Role Of Unofficial Diplomacy In Implementing The Priorities Of Foreign Policy

This study aimed at exploring the role of unofficial diplomacy in implementing the priorities of foreign policy by giving firstly a theoretical approach to diplomacy and foreign policy through the role of unofficial actors, and a conceptual introduction to unofficial diplomacy, then introducing Public diplomacy as an aspect of unofficial diplomacy.Secondly, I explain how to achieve the priorities of foreign policy via the unofficial diplomacy mechanisms such as the public diplomacy, Diplomacy of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), Elite’s diplomacy.Finally, Analyzing Unofficial Diplomacy in Implementing American Foreign Policy throughout the role of media, public opinion, Think Tanks, USAID, NGOs, religion, lobbyists, political parties. Besides, analyzing the evaluation of unofficial diplomacy in the implementation of American foreign policy via the range of public diplomacy’s achievement of US foreign policy priorities.
