Study On The Governance Of Lack Of Credibility Of Non-profit Organization

Along with the reform of Chinese socialist political and economic system, the transformation of social structure is accelerating, non-profit organizations are becoming more and more important in social governance, and playing an irreplaceable role. But in recent years, the negative news about non-profit organizations appear one after another, the lack of credibility and integrity has become a bottleneck restricting the development of non-profit organizations in china. Researching on lack of credibility of non-profit organizations in order to promote the development of non-profit organizations, and has great practical significance to speed up the transformation of government functions and build a harmonious society.In this paper, through the literature analysis, theoretical research, case analysis, system research and comparative research methods, the problem of the lack of credibility of non-profit organizations in our country are studied to give advice and suggestions. The first chapter of the research includes background, purpose and significance, research status at home country and abroad about the credibility of non-profit organizations, contents and methods are described. Then the non-profit organization, credibility of non-profit organization and other related concepts are defined, also through the introduction of the theory of governance, social capital theory and trust theory to analyze the problem of the lack of credibility of non-profit organizations, provides a solid theoretical foundation for this study.Combined with three typical cases in reality, analyzes and sums up the general performance of lack of credibility of non-profit organizations in our country at present, and then from three aspects of the legal environment, internal governance and external supervision to find and analyze the causes which led to the lack of credibility of non-profit organizations. To explore the effective way to strengthen the integrity of non-profit organizations in China, this paper introduces non-profit organizations’ credibility construction experience of American, British and German. On this basis, combined with Chinese national conditions and according to the above reasons, putting forward the measures to solve the lack of credibility of non-profit organizations in China, mainly reflected in three aspects: firstly, to create a good legal environment, establish and improve relevant laws and regulations system, straighten out therelationship between non-profit organizations and the government; secondly, improve the internal governance mechanism of non-profit organizations, includes the council decision system, performance evaluation system, incentive system and information disclosure system;finally, strengthen external supervision, construct comprehensive supervision system includes the third party evaluation mechanism, government, civil, media and industry autonomy organization. Through the comprehensive management to enhance the credibility of non-profit organizations, to implement the integrity management of non-profit organizations.
