The Research On Impact Of Automibile Drivers’ Characters On Traffic Safety And Its Solutions

In today’s rapid economic development and constantly transportation infrastructure improvement, motor vehicle ownership increases rapidly in our country, the traffic accidents which caused by vehicles is also increasing. According to the statistical analysis, the proportion of the accidents caused by drivers characteristic factor as high as 90% above. Therefore, it has important theoretical significance and practical value, that studying the characteristics of the driver and analyzing its influence on traffic safety, putting forward the feasible traffic safety countermeasures based on driver characteristics, to avoid or control of traffic accidents caused by drivers, and improve the road safety situation in our country.Based on the deep research of the related literature at home and abroad, this thesis collect and analyze the accident information of Hunan Province, then summarize the characteristics and reasons of traffic accidents in our province. From the aspects such as physiology, psychology, behavior and skills, the influence factors of the driver characteristics is studied. Thesis analyzes the action mechanism of the different factors on the different driver characteristics in detail.According to the research result of the driver characteristic, this paper analyzes the influence of the different driver characteristics factor on the traffic safety. In view of the above analysis, the countermeasures based on driver features such as physiology, psychology, behavior and skills is proposed; From the perspective of driver training, driver management and policy and regulations, some measures to improve the drivers features is put forward. The implementation of the above aspects plays an important role in fields of the driver characteristics improvement, driver training and exam, traffic management.
