The Army’s Production Movement Of The Shannxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region

The Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region was the location of the CPC’s Central Committee, which was the general strategic rear of the CPC lead the Anti-Japanese War. Its existence and development related to the future and destiny of the CPC and China. In the serious situation of internal and external, the army of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region combined fighting with production.that not only defended the CPC’s central committee, but also was helpful to the civil-military had enough food and clothing, and even created a great of spiritual wealth. Therefore, to research on the production movement of the border region military and summarize its experience enlightenment which has important historical significance and era value.In the first place, the article objectively reflects the background and process of the army movement from the angle of history. It focus on the appearing of a large number of off-job population in the region, especially the increasing number of people in the army, which strengthened the necessity and urgency of the military production movement.The border region military production movement was from immature to mature. There were some problems must be conquered and removed in the movement, such as factors that influenced incentive to produce, the deviation of production direction, the lack of production efficiency and experience in technology, as well as influence civil-military relations and so on.In the second place, in this paper introduced the results of the border region military production movement through literature research, data analysis and other methods. The movement solved the eating problem of the army, ensured its nutrition support, also laid a solid material foundation for the development of other industries.
