The Study On Deng Xiaoping’s Concept Of Development

Peace and development are themes of the present era. Countries all over the world all put development on an outstanding position, of course, so does China. As a chief designer of China’s reform and opening up, Deng Xiaoping undoubtedly played a distinctly important role in the historical progress of China’s reform and opening up.From the opening of the Third Plenary Session of the 11 th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party to the Southern Tour of Deng Xiaoping in 1992, Deng Xiaoping had led the development of the course of history in China; therefore, we call the representative developing ideological system put forward by Deng Xiaoping “Deng Xiaoping’s Concept of Development".Under the background of the Cold War was in the late period and advanced step by step towards the end, Deng Xiaoping’s concept of development was gradually taking shape which unified the Chinese own actual situation. The purpose of Deng Xiaoping’s concept of development is aimed at solving the problems in the China’s process of development and its content mainly includes: the premise and direction of development, strategy and motivation of development, foothold of development and so on. Deng’s development view, characterized with epochal, ethical, integral and open features, has important theoretical guiding significance. It has made important contributions not only to the development of Chinese and global socialism cause, but also to the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
