Legislative Study Of E-government Information Security

With the rapid development of communication technology and network technology, government management methods have u ndergone unprecedented changes in the global popularity of e-government. In the construction of more than a decade, our Government had made a series of laws to promote its E-government development. But in these legal documents, there are many legal loopholes. To the perspective of e-government information security legislation, this article analyzed the threats the e-government information security facing and found out the reasons. This paper also analyzed China’s existing e-government information security laws and regulations, and pointed out the inadequate of legislation, low level, the lag, indirect protection, insufficient and poor maneuverability, and so on. Drawing on the basis of the information security legislation of the EU, the US, Japan and Canada, this paper putted out egovernment information security legislation mode and legislative proposals for China.
