On The Legal Issues Of Taxi Industry Supervision

The supervision of taxi industry refers to the control and regulation of the supervision body, which is responsible for the taxi industry, to ensure the good operation of the taxi industry. The taxi strike incidents from place to place are the outbreak of the various conflicts caused by this strict supervision. Experienced the appeal and discussion for six or seven years, in 2015, the government finally decided to start the reform. But the reform is still facing a lot of obstacles, to reduce the power of government supervision, and to legalize the car that is made an aprroment through the internet, have become the focus and difficulty of the reform.The root of these problems is that the legal system of the taxi industry supervision is not perfect. Curentlly, the supervision of taxi industry has a lot of laws and regulations, especially local regulations, which provided the legal basis for the specific operations of supervision, and its actual operation is also adjusting along with thedevelopment of the taxi market. However, there are many legal problems in the supervision of China’s taxi industry, including the absence of unified legislation, the imbalance of rights and liabilities of the supervision body, the supervision content of the car that is made an aprroment through the internet is not yet clear, self-discipline supervision system is not perfect and so on. Today, many developed countries and regions have gropeed the supervision methods that are suited to its own national conditions, such as the unified supervision law, the open and comprehensive supervision philosophies, strengthen the self-decilipline supervision, appropriately reduce government intervention etc. All these provide useful references for the reform of China’s taxi industry supervision at the present stage. Based on reality and drew lessons from abroad, in order to improve the supervision of the taxi industry, China should unify the supervision legislation of the taxi industry, balance the rights and responsibilities of the government in the traditional taxi supervision, clear the supervision content of the car that is made an aprroment through the internet, strengthen the self-discipline supervision system.
