Research On The Legal Issue Governance Structure Of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank

The main content of this paper is about the governance structure of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (hereinafter referred to as "AIIB"). As a regional multilateral financial institution established by China for the first time, its reform and innovation in the governance structure has injected fresh vitality into the international financial field. It is worthy of researching whether the institutional characteristics and innovation will be suitable for AIIB operating environment, these changes will be more benefits for the profits of the bank, or not. Of course, the disadvantages can not be ignored as well. And the successful operation experience of AIIB will provide a model of governance structure.After observing the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, Asian Development Bank and other institutions, we know that their organizational structure, decision-making and other aspects have been unable to today’s world economic development trend due to a long time operation (than half a century):the majority of developing countries still need a lot of construction funds, emerging countries have a strong desire to get more right to speak in the international arena, the developed countries which owned a high proportion of the voting rights can’t effectively guide widely member states to accept the decision. They are the reflections of the old international economic system——it has some drawbacks.So this paper will explore the characteristics of the governance structure of the AIIB, as well as the governance structure of similar institutions,find the Innovation of AIIB and what impact it will lead.
