Path To Improve China Government Administration By E-government

At the beginning of 21 centuries, along with the the popularization of informationization and the coming of Internet Age, the traditional government management has become more and more difficult to adapt to the new situation. Accordingly, improving government administrative management to adapt to change is an inevitable choice in all countries of the world. As the most important way of improving government administrative management with network technology, E-government has attracted worldwide attention as soon as it is birthed. As the trend of the extention and application of E-government cannot be reversed, a domestic and international academic attention has been paid to take advantage of E-government for improving government administrative management, in order to lift the level of government administration and strengthen the capacity of government services.On the Path to improve China Government Administration by E-government, The first part of this paper makes a theoretical summary of E-government and Improving the Government Administration and the relationship between the two, focus on the connotation and characteristic of E-government, deeply analyze the backgroud of Improving Government Administration. Combined with administration academic theories, a systematic analysis of the E-government’s impact and influence in all fields of the traditional administration such as the role of E-government in improving administrative efficiency, optimizing administrative organization structures, transforming government function, etc.is made in the second part.The third part analyze the problems and causes in china E-government, and the last part give five corresponding countermeasures such as promoting information of E-government, perfecting legal system of E-government, enhancing comprehension of E-government etc. according to the situation of China,as the path to take advantage of E-government in improving government administrative managerment. Based on a large number of cases in the development of China’s E-government in the past few years, the theoretical explanations is tightly combined with practice in the article, and the qualitative and quantitative analysis is also made in the meantime.
