Centralization And Dispersion:a Study On The Structure And The Formation Mechanism Of Village Power

With modern impact on traditional rural society, as well as changes in the internal environment of it, elite groups who master the core power of the village gradually began to pay attention to personal interests’ revenue-brokers shift from diluting personal benefits’ protective broker. With the transition of the village’s brokerage role, the form of the village power structure has changed at the same time. The profit oriented broker to take a different action strategy to the core of the village, in view of the judge and weigh the real benefit from the village core power. So that the core power of the village is influenced by many different factors, which are based on the village resources. It shows that concentration and dispersion are two basic forms of village power structure. In this paper, the "rational person" hypothesis as the basic theoretical perspective, in the "the core power of the village", "profit oriented broker", "the real benefit" concept as the starting point, analysis of factors to promote rural elites for village core power in the village society. Thus, it explains the concentrated and discrete phenomena and the formation mechanism of the village power structure. Method of combining literature, field survey and comparative analysis, analysis on two aspects of theory and reality, trying to explain the reasons for the phenomenon of concentration and dispersion, thinking about the present situation of the villagers’ autonomy under the current profit oriented broker’s development.
