Research On The Developmental Trajectories Of The Chinese Communist Party’s Mass Line Thought

Generally, the mass line comprised “ doing everything for the masses, relying on them in every task, carrying out the principle of ‘from the masses, to the masses’ ”, is the essential line and organizational line of the Chinese Communist Party, and also is the prime leadership style and working procedure of the Chinese Communist Party, as is the foundation that differs the Chinese Communist Party from other proletarian parties. The mass line of Marxism Chinesization that the Chinese Communist Party leads the people to, is gradually raised and formed in the crucial environment of revolutionary war, developed and improved in the significant practice of socialist construction, reform and opening up, and building moderately prosperous society. Specifically, the mass line has gone through its formation, maturity and development in new democratic revolution period, its correct continuation in transition period, its zigzags in search of socialist construction road, and its recovery, development and innovation in every historical stages after the reform and opening up, which has guided every cause of the Chinese Communist Party and PRC go smoothly during every historical stages.This dissertation consists of total 7 parts. Part one: introduction, expounds the background and significance of this topic, summarizes the research status of this topic and elucidates the research methods and innovation. Part tow: theory origin of the Chinese Communist Party mass line thought: People-based thought in ancient China and Marxist mass view. Part three: the formation, maturity and development of mass line thought in new democratic revolution period, formative period of mass line thought from the foundation of the Chinese Communist Party to Agrarian Revolutionary War; mature period of mass line thought in Anti-Japan War; developing period of mass line thought in Liberation War. Part four: the continuation of mass line thought in transition period, to purify the the Chinese Communist Party by carrying out rectification movement and “three antis” movement; to strengthen economic construction by mobilizing all positive factors and correct handling of contradiction among the people; systematic discourse of mass line thought in the 8th people’s congress of the the Chinese Communist Party, which confirmed the status of mass line thought. Part five: the devious development of mass line thought in socialist construction period, deviating gradually the mass line thought after anti-rightist struggle, “Great Leap Forward” movement and “the Great Cultural Revolution”, which resulted in the setbacks emergence and even severe distortion of the mass line thought. Part six: the recovery, development and innovation after the reform and opening up, through unremitting endeavor of the party members of the Chinese Communist Party represented by Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping, the mass line thought can hence recover, develop, improve and implement innovation. Part seven: the enlightenment of developmental trajectories of the Chinese Communist Party’s mass line thought, summarizes the experiences and enlightenment of the developmental process of the Chinese Communist Party’s mass line thought. Part eight: conclusion, briefly combing out the developmental trajectories of the Chinese Communist Party mass line and summarizing the writing feelings of this dissertation.
