There has been twenty years since the development of Internet in China, and it has changed many aspects of our life. On this circumstance, China’s publishing industry has moved toward the path to digital publishing. With the development of 3G/4G technology, mobile Internet has made it much easier to surf the Internet. Mobile reading has become a new trend. To enhance the reading experience during our fragmentation time, mobile reading applications has appeared on the mobile phone and other tablet PCs which turned into the most popular way of reading.The industry chains of reading were made up of the author, publisher and reader before. Because of digital publishing, it has expansion. Now, its composed of copyright owners, content consolidators, equipment suppliers and the platform operator. Those changes caused new business patterns and expanded the connotation of mobile reading. While digital publishing brings benefit, a series of questions especially the copyright issue become a major obstacle to the healthy development of mobile reading applications. In old time, copyright was a strategy to balancing the interest between author and publisher. Nowadays, mobile reading industry share with new interests, the old copyright cannot adapt with. Due to the lack of legislation, weak supervision, the neglect of publisher, etc...Digital copyright problems and the order of mebile reading market are getting more and more serious.This article started with copyright, then discussed the developmental situation and the basic legal system of copyright in theory, and at the same time, summarized the problems of digital copyright. In the framework of copyright system, to protect and use the digital copyrights, I choose to analyze the external environment and the enterprise of APPs. To be specific, I will analyze what the problem of digital copyright is from perspectives of legislation, technology level, enterprise management, readers’consciousness of copyright, and then proposed the solution and the strategy. At the same time, I chose the representative mobile reading App—ZhangYue iReader as a case. This company which develop this App almost has no copyright disputes, and I will analyze it’s ways of managing and operating the copyright problems, which provides some good advice.The timeliness and interactivity of the internet broke the role of the traditional copyright. We should protect it, moreover is to spread it scientifically and reasonably. Through the new business model to build a more standardized copyright management system. Although there are many research on digital copyright and mobile reading applications. This article focus on real data and foregoing problems, Combined the theory and reality, putting forward a series of useful suggestions.
