The Study Of Villagers Participating In Public Goods Supply Under The Background Of Vacant Villages

It is necessary for the villagers to participate in the public goods supply. However, with the continuous development of economy, the phenomenon of vacant villages in rural residential area becomes increasingly outstanding. There is a state of imbalance that the majority of villagers have moved away from the rural, besides the elders, children and women. The situation of villagers’ participation has been changed. Not only it weakened the main force of rural public goods supply, but has bad influences in the supply way and effects. Actually, vacant village has been an important factor that hinders the new rural construction. Therefore, it is a general tendency to study villagers participating in public goods supply in vacant villages under the background of vacant village administer.The concepts, forming reason and the population structure about the vacant village is analyzed and discussed in this thesis by the study of literature and comprehensive analysis. What’s more, using the questionnaire survey and the interview, the article investigates that the vacant village is mainly characterized by changes in population structure, Z village included. Therefore, analyzing the villagers participating in public goods supply under the background of vacant villages by Z village is available. To analyze the public goods supply and demand in vacant villages can pave the way for my later study. Then, the article selects two cases from Z village based on the stability of demands and the dynamics of supply.The thesis summarizes the experiences by using the social capital theory, stakeholder theory and governance theory perspective. The villagers participating in public goods supply depends on the common interests, multiple powers effectively participation and social capital. What’s more, the study also recognizes the problems in villagers participating, such as the shortage of the villagers and the effective in the participation. Reasons for these problems are:the villagers’senses of participation are insufficient and the other external multiple forces didn’t play a role, such as government and marketplace. In order to solve these problems, there are some specific advices to the villagers participating in public goods supply under the background of vacant village.
