Discuss In Sense Of Speech Responsibility In The New Media Environment

In the new media environment, the speed of information propagation has greatly improved, the existence model of the subject of speech has also changed, which means information receiver can be the sender of information at the same time. The model of dual role raises the freedom of the subject of speech. Besides, this kind of freedom makes it easier for information to spread, which makes the filtering mechanism based on information itself breaks down. While bad comments can not be regulated entirely by laws. It thus makes it necessary to raise the function of ideological and political education.In this paper, a perspective of survey for the function of ideological and political education in contemporary society was taking into consideration, and focusing on the influences it makes to the sense of speech responsibility in the new media environment. The first part of the paper reviewed related research about this issue, and it can be found that ‘the sense of speech responsibility’ was a new perspective of thinking the function of ideological and political education in contemporary society. The second part makes explanation of the conception of ‘the sense of speech responsibility in the new media environment’ and goes further discussion about the social influences caused by the judgments and spreads which were made by the subject of speech. In new media environment, it is of great importance to enhance the sense of speech responsibility of the subject of speech. The third part based on the characteristics of the subject of speech, according to the features of diversification, defamiliarization and anonymization to certain the necessity of the improvement of the sense of speech responsibility of the subject of speech. The fourth part argues the path of enhancing the sense of speech responsibility in the new media environment. That includes set up socialist core values of the subject of speech by ideological and political education; link the sense of speech responsibility to socialist core values tightly; build public reason; and regulate the freedom of speech of the subject.
