Online shopping has become China’s consumers, especially young consumers an important way to shop, it has a traditional shopping unmatched convenience, but because of their own virtual online shopping, cross-regional, etc., so that the interests of online consumers easily rights have been violated is not easy.Our legislature aware of this issue, released a new "Consumer Protection Law" in 2013, in full consultation with public opinion on the basis of article 25 on the "seven days no reason to return" requirement is to resolve network TV, telephone, mail order and other new shopping patterns in the interests of consumers vulnerable issues. Since this is our first time at the national level, the provisions of this new legislation rights, less work for the academic study of this right, the definition of this right is not uniform, and some call it "the right to go back," some direct call "seven days no reason to return" system, academia common law countries generally referred to as "cooling-off period system." In this paper, combining the basic theory of civil law and the basic situation of our country’s legislative practice, defines the right of "regret" for the consumer, for this right of research with larger development space.Our right to regret than in other countries started late, this provision is only a preliminary exploration of regret right to require detailed sound enough for China’s online shopping cart in an increasingly complex environment can not be an effective response. It is necessary to regret the right to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth study. This paper studies the basic theory of consumer rights and to regret the existence of legislation and implementation issues. Use case analysis, comparative analysis, theory with practice and other research methods, in six parts, the consumer the right to regret research. The first part of the introduction through three typical case raises problems for study in this paper. The second part is the study of the basic theory of the right to regret the consumer, including the rationality of demonstrated consumers’ regret rights "defined the nature of the consumer the right to regret, features and differences between related concepts. The third part introduces the consumer the right to regret differ between China and foreign countries and their legislative situation. The sixth part is the conclusion of the whole thesis, noted consumers the right to regret in our country to establish the importance of the healthy development of online transactions, and consumers the right to regret in our country’s development prospects make online shopping.
