The Analysis Of The Ethnic Conflicts In Pakistan

Pakistan, a multi-ethnic Islamic nation, is one of the most representative Islamic states. Although Islamism is the foundation and pillar of the founding of Pakistan, Islamism until today still fails to be recognized and supported by all different ethnic groups. Each ethnic group has its own identity and is proud of its own culture and history. This has caused continual conflicts among different ethnic groups in Pakistan ever since it was founded.The two purposes of this paper/thesis are:first, to comprehend the ethnic issues in the perspective of Pakistan:secondly, to analyze the ethnic issues existing in Pakistani social and political areas.On the basis of the theories of nations and nationalism, I compare nationalism and ethnic nationalism, and analyze the aim, orientation and evolution process of Pakistani nationalism.Based on the Pakistani nationalism mentioned above, I analyze the ethnic issues in Pakistan from various perspectives and focuses. With my personal experience gained by trips I made to Pakistan every semester, I am able to research the reasons and factors concerning the Pakistani ethnic issues.
