A Study On The Relief System Of Poor College Students In Colleges And Universities

Since the enrollment expansion in China in 1999, higher education has changed from "elite education" to "mass education" and "universal education". According to the "statistical bulletin" 2014 national education statistics, up to 35 million 590 thousand people in the school of higher education in china. With the increase of the cost of higher education, the number of poor college students is increasing. Assistance to needy students has become a widespread concern of the whole society, a high degree of attention to public issues. National commitment, never let a poor student dropout, and issued a series of relevant relief policies and measures. This paper focuses on the study of the relief system of college students in poverty, how to improve the quality of relief work, which is of great significance to the development of higher education and the promotion of social equity.Over the years, the state in the relief policy, form, scope and other aspects have launched a positive exploration, and strive to improve the relief system for poor students in Colleges and universities. Since the fall semester of 2007, our country established a set of scholarships, loans, assistance, reduction, exemption, complement and the "green channel" etc. various forms of organic combination of salvage system for poor students, in the actual rescue process played a very good role in guiding and relief work achieved good results.The through literature research method, questionnaire survey method, comparative research method, using theory of public management methodology data collection and analysis, on the relevant literature review and research results to analyze, and taking Nanjing University of Finance and economics as an example, a detailed understanding of the poor college students basic information, family, personal consumption and poor students of the relief work evaluation, and then a further analysis of problems existing in China’s current college poor students assistance system.In reference on the basis of the United States, Japan and other poor students in Colleges and universities, rescue experience, starting from the point of view of country, society, colleges and universities, poor students self, to explore the construction of the assistance system of poor college students in our country and to put forward their own shallow views and suggestions, through the relief system further enhance the effectiveness of assistance for needy college students, promote the poor college students in active learning, the cultivation of healthy personality of poor college students.
