The Big Data And Administrative Efficiency During The Construction Of E-government

Since the central government explicitly put forward the strategy of "the development of national economy and social informationization driven by E-government". the E-government in China has been rapidly developed, continuously demonstrating its leading position in the construction of informationization. The construction of E-government has gradually become the main power and the important work content of the government to deepen the reform of the administration system, and also an effective tool for promoting government reform, optimization of government processes, reduction of administrative costs, and improving the service level of the government. In 2013, by issuing the Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Several Major Issues Regarding Deepening Reform, the country further put forward to "continuously improve the government’s service efficiency, and further enhance the level of E-government services". The rapid development of E-government will certainly produce a large amount of data. So the government leaders face the challenge to capture, ingest, analyze, store and distribute data, and guarantee data safety as well as convert the data into meaningful and valuable information. Proper management, modeling, share and conversion of big data will create new insights, and provide opportunities to make decisions which is not possible for the past.The implementation process of E-government will definitely produce a lot of data. This article briefly discusses how to better use the data, and improve government efficiency. This article first introduces the development situation of the E-government in China and the positive significance of E- government to improve the government’s service efficiency, and then introduces the successful applications of big data in our business fields, and advanced experiences in and out of China regarding the application of big data in e-government. By referring to the current situation of e-government development in Suzhou, the article then focuses on discussing how to further improve the level of Suzhou’s e-government services, especially how to improve the efficiency of e-government by using big data. This article originally performs brief analysis on Suzhou E-government by combining the actual situation in Suzhou and through the SWOT analysis method, and raises the suggestions on the development of Suzhou’s E-government. And how to improve the efficiency of e-government by using big data.
