Study On Resolution On Certain Questions In The History Of Our Party Since The Founding Of The People’s Republic Of China

The value of the CPC’s historical documents will not die away over time, nor fade away with the development of times, on the contrary, it will be eternally renewed.As the object of this paper, Resolution on Certain Questions in the History of Our Party since the Founding of the People’s Republic of China ("The resolution"),with a far-reaching effect, is an important document in the CPC’s history. By analyzing the historical documents and historical data, this paper discusses the back ground and process of "The resolution", and believes that Theory-discussing Meeting and Ye Jianying’s speech on 30 Anniversary of National Day lay the theoretical foundations for "The resolution" and contribute a lot to its drafting and formulation.This paper emphasizes on describing the outstanding contributes made by four leaders, Deng Xiaoping, Chen Yun, Hu Yaobang and Hu Qiaomu, in the process of "The resolution’" s writing. Deng Xiaoping established the guideline of "The resolution’" s drafting and defined some important historical events; Chen Yun proposed to write a review of the history of the 28 years before the founding of the PRC, and appealed to evaluate the historical events; Hu Yaobang expatiated how to treat Mao and Mao’s thoughts rightly and arranged the study and implementation of "The resolution"; Hu Qiaomu, the person who was in charge of the drifting job, took the responsibility to "The resolution’" s drafting and modification, proposed and concluded a seize of important theoretical points.Besides, this paper concludes CPC’s new perspectives towards "The resolution" since 1980s, which believes that although there are many new thoughts, even some new and objective evaluations are made to some historical figures, these new points, judgments and thoughts are still based on "The resolution". They are connected and advance with times.As a wisdom crystallization of all the researches on the CPC’s history after 1949, "The resolution" represents a highest level of understanding in the early 1980s. The scientific position,view and method showed in " The resolution" are not outdated but with enduring value.
