With the increasingly development of urbanization, the change of economic and family structure and the enhance of population mobility in China, the requirement for community children and adolescents in improving education level is highlighting and gains more and more social concerns. Meantime, our country promotes the innovation of social service, social workers, one of the most significant talent groups, will play an important role in the governance and service of community. In order to facilitate the group construction of professional social workers, our country motivates the government to purchase the social workers to serve, enhances the group cultivation of social workers, guides the social workers and groups to participate the governance and service of community. With the spring up of Community Social Work Service Station, it also reflects the drawbacks that the professionalism of social workers is clearly insufficient, the professional autonomy awareness of social worker is weak, the professional autonomy capacity needs to be strengthened and the professional autonomy right is lost, which all affect the quality of services during the process of operation. And such research in this area needs to be strengthened.This paper take the example of the Adolescent Social Work Service Station in J Community, conducting the research on these three dimensionalities:the professional autonomy awareness, the professional autonomy capacity and the professional autonomy right. The whole passage can be divided into six parts:the first part describes the background and significance of the research, by introducing the author’s internship experience to lead to the necessity of study of social workers professional autonomy and the significance of it both in theory and practice. The second part deals with the related theory and research on professional autonomy of social workers at home and abroad. And in the third part, it identifies the study framework and research methodology by using a combination measure of case study and action research, which gathered abundant of practical information for paper writing. As for the fourth part, it selects Adolescent Social Work Service Station in J Community as a case to carry out the introduction from the organizational structure of social work station, the service object, the service strategy, the service content, and the role of social workers. When comes to the fifth part, it describes the status and existing problems of the autonomy of the social workers in the service station, and explores the factures of restricting the professional autonomy of social workers, which includes social work practitioners themselves, social work agencies, government interventions, the constraints of residents, the assessment of social work and so on. In the last part, it put forward a series of related strategies of conducting the professional autonomy into full play according to these three aspects, awareness capacity and external environment. Continuous ponder and further study are needed for better research of social work professional autonomy.
