Social Work Ethical Dilemmas And The Way Out In The Context Of Social Work Professional-Taking Youth Practical Work As An Example

Since social worker certification examination was set up in our country in 2008, social work become more and more professional. Social work organizations and professional social workers also have an integrated development. The premise of social work professionalism is specialization. In addition to the methods and techniques, the most important thing during the social work specialization process is to seize social work value and ethics. Social work ethics is the soul of social work, that exists in our culture, social system, daily living and behavior habits. So simple graft is too difficult to survive. Though a lot of values are "universal", the social work professional ethics pursued in China are different from the West due to the different view of history and value characteristics. So on the one hand we need to explore the feasibility of overseas social work ethics in China, the other hand we should formulate a professional social work ethics in line with the national culture and social development as soon as possible. Only by grasping the soul of professional ethics, analyzing of the current ethical dilemmas of social work and thinking it’s way out, we will construct social work ethics system.This paper starting from generally recognized similar cases from the front-line social workers in the practical work of specific young people, analyzes the principles of social workers to follow, the dilemma in the process to solve these cases, and the way out of the plight. Great to see small, this paper present some thoughts on the construction of social work ethics system in China.I believe, with the cases accumulation done by front-line social workers, our social work ethics system will be truly established. Through the better study of the large number of cases, from quantitative to qualitative change, we can construct our social work ethical system with Chinese characteristics.
