The Study On Professional Social Work Intervention In Old Disabled Persons

With the development of an aging population and an increasing risk of disability due to old, the population of disabled old persons has a great growth, and the resulting problems gradually aroused the concerns of the community. Old age groups of persons with disabilities focused on the age of vulnerable elderly and persons with disabilities physiological weak features, which belong to the vulnerable groups of vulnerable groups. Because of their physical barriers, psychological and social participation in the shortage of the fragile, older disabled persons in the economic security, life care, medical and rehabilitation, etc in a great deal of difficulty, the life condition is concerned.Problems of disabled old persons can not be separated from the cooperation of society and individuals. However, the input to the disabled old persons provided by the government, China Disabled Persons’Federation and other social organizations is less and in low professional level, so it can not solve the deeper problem of disabled old persons. Finding a professional and suitable power for the elderly with disabilities is urgent.Helpful nature, scientific knowledge and methods of social work in older persons decided that it could be as a effective service for disabled old persons, and the introduction of relevant national policies for professional social work intervention in elderly persons with disabilities services to provide a reliable guarantee. Therefore, the social work intervention in elderly persons with disabilities is necessary and feasible.The process involved in disabled old persons, social workers need creat four systems for disabled old persons, social resource system, support network system, intervention methods system and evaluation system. In addition, the intervention on the object, social workers should not only involved in old disabled persons, but also take into account the family and community environment of its surrounding, in order to provide a better service for disabled old persons.
