With the development of the Chinese social economic, the medical service market is expanding by the people’s increasing income and growing health consciousness. As the reformation of the medical and health system began in 2009, the government created a lot policies for the services industry of medical and health, increased input in the financial and improved the level of basic medical and health care. The reformation of medical treatment offered more development opportunities for the existing competitors in medical industry, but at the same time, it brought new potential competitors who would influence the whole market pattern changes in the health care industry. It is more necessary for the military hospital to make strategic planning because of the reformation of the army.The aim of this paper is to provide the preliminary strategic advice for the Frontier Hospital of Armed Police(abbreviate as APFH) which is the comprehensive hospital belong to the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force. First, it uses the PESTEL Analysis to analyze the external environment of APFH. Second, the Potter Five Forces Model will be used to analyze the internal environment of APFH. Next it uses the SWOT model to analyze the external and internal environment factors. Finally, it uses the quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM matrix) to complete the strategic choice and provide some suggestion for the development strategy of APFH. |
