Study On The Mechanism And Effect Of The People’s Mediation In The Disputes Between Doctors And Patients In Ji’nan

In recent years, the demand of seeing doctors has increased rapidly. But the level and quality of medical services don’t keep up with it. Affected by social factors at the same time, the disputes between doctors and patients are increasing. It causes the legitimate rights and interests of doctors and patients suffer damage. How to promote the relationship between doctors and patients, dispose the disputes properly, are getting more and more attention from all walks of life. Taking the people’s mediation committee of disputes between doctors and patients in Jinan (PMCDDP) as the study object, the paper studies the mechanism and effect of people’s mediation doctor-patient dispute by some research methods such as checking data, theoretical research, on-the-spot investigation, interview, obtaining files and case analysis. The author believes that PMCDDP is neutral, professional, free and high efficiency, and it has good results. But there are also some disadvantages, such as low status, weak functions, less personnel and lacking of funds. The paper suggests that we should strive to improve the status, strengthen support, enrich staff, standardized operation and perfect network to improve people’s mediation in the disputes between doctors and patients.
