Along with economic development and the progress of the society, the female as the important component of the social main body, in the process of social progress is playing an increasingly important role. Women emancipate the mind as a part of Marx and Engels, the integrity of the content and profundity, the women’s liberation themselves with progressive ideas and the modern women’s liberation has important meaning.Marx and Engels did not specifically for women’s Liberation research works, but they in the course of study of human development, discusses the problems and liberation of women, and points out the necessity of women’s liberation. These thoughts are scattered in different periods of Marx and Engels’ works. This paper consists of introduction and three parts. The introduction mainly reflects the general programme of the research and main conclusions. The three part of the content of the study is in accordance with the development of Marx, Engels, the development of women’s Liberation and the contents of the classic works of. Investigation and analysis of the first part mainly from theoretical and practical point of view of Marx and Engels women liberation thought in the social and historical background and thought origin; the second part from the female liberation five aspects:ideological premise condition, cause, measure and target, the way to analyze and study the content of Marx and Engels about the thought of women emancipation. The third part discusses the Contemporary Enlightenment of Marx and Engels’s Thoughts on women’s liberation. The study of Engels and Marx’s Thoughts on women’s liberation can not only provide an important source of ideas for Chinese women’s liberation, but also can provide a clear direction for the development of Chinese women’s liberation. At the same time, it also provides guidance for the further development of western feminism.
