Youth Ideology of Lenin was presented at the end of the 19 th century to the 20 th century, when Russia is in a special history period. The Youth Ideology of Marx and Engels is the direct theoretical source of the Youth Ideology of Lenin and the traditional Russian culture and European culture has exerted a significant influence on it. From April 1894 to Lenin’s death those three decades, Lenin’s youth thought has experienced four stages: birth period, initial formation, maturity and the further development.In the process of revolution and construction, Lenin deeply realized that the youth play a role of linking. He also realized that the youth is the future, the main force of the revolution and construction and the capture target of all parties. Thus, it will expand the power of proletariat to encourage young people to learn and study Marxism. Lenin also thought it is necessary to cultivate the youth’s communist morality, rich their scientific and cultural knowledge, reinforce their labor discipline, strengthen their practical ability, guide their to critically absorb the world’s excellent culture, and thus promote them development in an all-around way. Lenin attached great importance to the discovery and selection of young talents. He cautioned against the old concept of talent, and suggested people to use young talents. According to the needs of society and youth itself, Lenin established the Communist Youth League, and presented the Communist Youth League should become the “storm troops†for supporting all works of the state under the leadership of the party.The Youth Ideology of Lenin has an important enlightenment for the right awareness of contemporary youth work in the new historical period.
