The Organization Activities And Realistic Enlightenment Of Red Cross Society Of China Beijing Branch(1928-1949)

Red Cross Society plays an important role to promote the development of philanthropy in China, to improve the social security system, and to build a socialist harmonious society.So China Red Cross Society is an important part of China socialism. Established since 1928,Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch as a branch of China Red Cross Society, took great contribution to the aspects on war ambulance, poverty relief, improving people’s livelihood, and social stability under taking orders on human fraternity purpose. It provides a useful reference for the healthy development of charitable activities and improvement of the social security system. However, currently academic use theoretical point of view on the Marxist Theory to sort out the historical facts of the Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch before the founding of new China, and research the produces important realistic enlightenment of it. Overall, they are not systematic and thorough enough.Therefore, this paper mainly based on archives, newspapers and other original materials, with literature method and comparison method to reduction the organization activities of Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch in 1928-1949, to explore its origin and development, organization construction, humanitarian activities and so on. Besides, to combine with Marxist theory to analyze the basic characteristics, social function, historical contribution of Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch which represents the China Red Cross Society career. What’s more, to think of the historical development of Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch and to take the reality enlightenment for nowadays.In summary, this paper attempts to draw the following conclusions. First, Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch as a typical representative of China Red Cross Society career development process that leaved the wonderful scenes in war ambulance, livelihood support, humanitarian aid, and especially in improving the modern social security system,social stability aspects. Its generation, existence and development has a strong historical inevitability and practical value. Second, Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch is based on the actual needs of the people, whether wartime rescue the wounded, or in peacetime relief disease. Its humanitarian activities make to help the disadvantaged,improve people’s livelihood, social stability as the basic pursuit which made a positive contribution. Third, Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch is different from other areas Red Cross Society and other charitable organizations. It gradually formed its owncharacteristics, institution building and activities during the development process of practice. Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch is a vivid microcosm that is the inevitable trend of modern Chinese philanthropy towards to institutionalized,modernization and localization. It provide the can not be ignored history reference for the Communist Party of China in development of the socialist new philanthropy and social security system. Fourth, the development process of Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch fully proved that the universal value and truth value of Marxism on people’s livelihood. It prompted us to firm belief, continue to hold high the great banner of Marxian theory and effectively solve the livelihood problems.
