The standing-posture writing refers to the variability of writing positions with the changing writing conditions. In the verification process, the appraiser sometimes will take the variability of writing positions as the basis to analyze the reasons of some abnormal signs or explain the difference between material and samples. Further, the variability of writing positions can be used to extract the natural sample and experimental sample under the same or similar handwriting conditions. The research on the changing rules of such writing characteristics in the handwriting verification field is not deep enough, especially concerning its definition, classification, characteristics, verification notes and verification comment. Then, the detailed data and cases are also insufficient for the empirical research. Obviously, the research on forming mechanism, characteristics changing rules and specific inspection & verification of handwriting written in standing position not only has strong theoretical guiding significance, but has practical application values. This paper conducted empirical research on the relevant problems about the verification of handwriting written in standing positions via observation analysis, data comparison and verification case analysis by collecting the relevant experimental samples. The thesis can be divided into five chapters. The first chapter clarified the theories of handwriting written in standing position. The definition and usual classification of handwriting written in standing positions, the current situation and significance of research on the verification of handwriting written in standing positions as well as the theoretical basis of statistical standard of handwriting characteristics were further stated in this chapter.Chapter two was about the experimental design. This chapter clarified the experimental objective and thought, method and steps, experimental tool, experimental object, contents of experimental sample, characteristic varieties of inspection changes, inspection method and analysis method etc.Chapter three explored the characteristics changing rules of usual handwriting written in four standing positions. 108 people with different ages and writing levels were selected to explore the characteristics and rules of handwriting written in standing positions including the handwriting written on a horizontal table, handwriting written on the single hand, handwriting written on a vertical wall and handwriting written on 45°slope. Meanwhile, the effect of writing level and speed etc on the handwriting characteristics changing rules was further studied. The fourth chapter concluded the characteristics as well as the changing rules of handwriting written in standing positions through the statistical analysis based on a large amount of experimental data, studied the similarities and difference of handwriting written in different standing positions, explored its general rules, mutability and stability characteristics as well as the corresponding reasons. The experiment found that the writing level was decreased slightly. Most of characters have shorter vertical stroke, flat front, laggard end stroke, increased stroke connection and longer vertical figure stroke. The writing on the horizontal table brought out larger handwriting changes and heavier strength. The writing on the single hand had the maximum handwriting changes with light strength and shaking phenomena. The stability characteristics include the way of writing characters, layout, pen movement, proportion and sequence as well as others except for the characters. Further, this paper compared the handwriting written in standing positions with the other usual confusing handwriting. The last chapter was about the verification of handwriting written in standing positions. The preparation before the verification, verification process and notes were further presented. This thesis aimed to bring out more intuitive characteristics to verify the relevant experimental results and put forward some suggestions by combing the typical examples of practice departments during the internship.
