The Study On The Promotion And Cultivation Of The Chinese National Spiritin New Era

The national spirit is a common state and spiritual power, which is created by a nation after a long historical development, through continuous competition and integration with other nations, through its continuous updating, integration and evolution. After entering the new era, China is facing new situation and new challenges with continuously improving the political status and promoting economic development. How to carry forward and cultivate the spirit of Chinese nation in new erabecomes a reality and urgent need for strong demands of the times.Starting from the concept of national spirit sort and refine, this paper summarizes and analyzes the formation and evolution of Chinese historical spirit and Marxist discussion on relevant National Spirit, expounds the New National Spirit deepening development in China. About the plight and the reason of carrying forward and cultivating the national spirit, we sum up the four reasons more from reality: firstly, during the primary stage of socialism, social contradictions are highlight to lost Chinese universal spiritual world; secondly, due to the imbalance between material civilizationand spiritual civilization, material abundance has brought social values mutation; thirdly, history cultural modernization movement has brought the traditional culture of rupture, resulting in today’s social and cultural traditions and modern contradictions; fourthly, the "globalization" multiculturalism and challenges cause great impact on national culture, local culture. These dilemmas mean the description ofpromoting Chinese culture in new era: carrying forward national spirit is important to build a harmonious society, to achieve the "China Dream" provides spiritual motivation and to enhance China’s cultural "soft power", and it is the inevitable choice to deal with the globalizationchallenges.Therefore, we must explore effective ways to carry forward the national spirit in new era, to propose a solution on the methodology. Firstly, deepening and spreading the theoretical system of socialist core valuesis the primary task from theoretical level. Socialist core values and national spirit are internally consistent. The practice of socialist core values is the breakthrough to carry forward and cultivate national spirit, also reflecting the national spirit at this stage of consciousness. Deepening the socialist core value system construction should pay attention to public education method, following the law of human understanding. Secondly, accelerating the construction of a harmonious society and inheriting Traditional Chinese Cultureprovide external conditions and cultural foundation for cultivating the national spirit. Building a harmonious society for the National Spirit provides the lives’ soil, depending on National Spirit offered psychological environment. Particularly, we must properly handle the relationship between cultural industries and traditional culture, creating outstanding cultural works which represents the our national spirit. Thirdly, the national culture is the natural shelter for national spirit, cultural construction is the specific measures to carry forward the national spirit. We must deepen cultural restructuring, show respect to the law of cultural development, improving the construction of cultural institutions. Cultivation of National Spirit is a systematic project, need to rely on all levels of Party organizations and governments to lead, need long-term investment, universal build. Fourthly, facingthe cultural globalization, multicultural situation, we should build a culture of self-confidence, persisting in reform and opening up, developing our own strengths, to cast the nation spirit to cultural products which is full of national characteristics, and to spread our cultural products to the world, to export our national culture and spirit. As a basis of perfect cultural products, establishing a national culture with Chinese style among the cultural openness and competition.
